	8 Bay High Performance HD Video RAID System

The ST8 Series is an eight drive storage solution that supports up to 2TB drives in each drive slot enabling a total of 16TB per system.

Compact and portable
With a footprint of 12 inches tall and only 5 inches wide, the ST8 Series is the market’s most compact eight drive system enclosure. For field editing applications, the ST8 is portable and features a handy grip handle, making mobile creative content convenient.

Ruggedly built
The ST8 is built tough with all aluminum chassis to protect the enclosed drives, and help with heat dissipation. Also it’s equipped with 2 large quiet fans which continuously draw heat away from the inside of the system so your drives run cool. Integrated SATA Port Multiplication The ST8-S2P model (see spec.) integrates 2 sets of SATA port multiplier allow the connection of 4 drives with one single SATA cable, effectively reducing the number of cables. Two cables are all that’s required!

miniSAS or eSATA
The ST8 Series is available in eSATA or mini-SAS for the best output in performance. The mini-SAS (ST8-U5) version is capable of accepting either SAS or SATA hard drives or SSD for the most cost effective and flexible storage system to own.

		Security with flexibility Equipped with removable hard drive trays, installing or removing drives is hassle-free. Simply insert the drive to the designated slot and go! Each drive tray is equipped with a locking mechanism to secure the drive into place to keep the drives and data safe.
